🟩 Halo Master Chief Collection 🟪 Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary 🟦 Part 17 🟦 The Library The cutscene shows Chief, Monitor at Control Room. Cortana interrupts, reveals truth: Halo destroys Flood's food, is a bomb. Monitor turns hostile, commands Sentinels to attack. Level begins, Chief has Plasma Pistol. One charged shot per Sentinel. Once all defeated, level starts. 🟥 The Gun Pointed At The Head Of The Universe At this point, you're back at Assault on the Control Room. Use the right control panel to open the door. Cortana reveals Halo must be destroyed to save the Universe. She suggests using a Battleship's fusion reactors to cause a chain reaction. Cortana scans Covenant Battlenet for the Pillar of Autumn's crash site. In the hallway, grunts, elites, and Sentinels battle. Let them fight, then use Shotgun for leftovers. More Covenant await before the next door. Take them out and proceed. Inside, Elites and Grunts/Jackals guard the ramp. Grenades and Shotgun work well. Cortana interrupts with her plan: destroy Halo's generators in the valley. She sets a waypoint for the first one. Get a pistol and Sniper Rifle at the tower top. Use the pistol's scope to pick off grunts below, then slide down the wall. Proceed left for Rocket Launcher. Use it on Elites and Grunts. Drop down, destroy the Wraith with Rockets. Take the unoccupied Banshee and fly to the first waypoint. Guarded door, but Banshee handles it. Enter the generator room, Cortana alters your shields for an EMP burst to destroy the generator. Walk into it. Return to Banshee, Sentinels guard the door, ignore if desired.


🟥 Breaking Stuff To Look Tough The next Generator is in the adjacent valley. Take the Banshee back to the previous level's entrance. Watch out for Grunts with Fuel Rod Cannons. Enter and remember arrow directions. Expect active enemies: Flood, Sentinels, and Covenant. Let them fight to conserve ammo. In the first large room, use cover and windows. In the hallway, use grenades on fleeing grunts and Jackals. In the next room, let Elites and Jackals fight Flood. Stick Elites for explosions. Use cover and headshots. Proceed to double bridges, take out jumping Flood. Use barriers and continue. In the ramp room, throw grenade across center and spray Flood. Watch for Rocket Launcher Flood. Proceed to treacherous bridge, eliminate Combat Form Flood and Carriers. Banshees will be destroyed. Fight through occupied room to Elevator and go down. Bottom room has Human Form Flood, bypass or eliminate. Pass through section, eliminate enemies near Ghost. Flip it and head back. Bypass enemies and go through small cave. Grab health and ammo, head up spiral rock and out. Quickly reach second Banshee, avoid damage. Fight Banshees and Hunters. Reach Nav point for second building with generator. Clear platform and entrance. Trigger explosion, grenade entrance door. Expect heavy Flood Resistance, use Rocket Launcher and Shotgun. Clear area and return to Banshee. 🟥 The Tunnels Below The next part takes you back into tunnels. Use the Banshee and bring it down the open cave. Help either the Covenant or Flood in their fight, then eliminate the survivors. The end door is broken but partially closed. Exit the Banshee, grab the Ghost, and shoot through the gap to lure the Flood to the door. Use the Ghost to kill them as they come through. Tip: Reverse the Ghost into the door crack and use the Banshee to push it, allowing it to clip through the gate. Bring the Ghost into the large room. Cross the unbroken bridge, triggering a flood of infection forms. Use the Ghost's plasma guns to eliminate them, along with any Covenant or other Flood. Proceed to the opposite side and exit the tunnel into the large field. 🟥 The Final Run In this section, the nav point on your HUD leads to the last Generator. It's further down the valley. Exit the tunnel into a Covenant vs. Flood battle. Use your Ghost to kill them and proceed to the next part, a small jump. Grab a Rocket Launcher here. Use a Ghost Wheelie (press A while driving) to go back up the ramp. In the clearing, deal with Flood and Wraiths using rocks for cover and Rockets/Ghost. You can also hop into a Banshee and fly away. The last generator is guarded by Sentinels outside the door. Stay far away and eliminate them with the Banshee. Inside, deal with remaining Sentinels and activate the last generator. After a cutscene, Cortana explains the Monitor's teleportation and sends you to the penultimate level, Keyes.
