Upon reaching the cruiser, clear spores with Assault Rifle. Two open doors: locked room and path forward (opposite burning door). Proceed through linear hallways. When Flood Carrier charges, turn back to eliminate one behind. Take out remaining spores. Move along hallway with dead bodies, enter two-story room with Wraith. Snipe Carriers and Fighter with Pistol, switch to rifle for charging Fighter. Reach door at upper level's end, descend. Ignore sniping spores, walk through door to first floor, eliminate charging wave of Fighter Floods. Clear remaining spores in next room, ignore Ghosts. Proceed to next hallway, eliminate new wave of Floods. Use Pistol sparingly, switch to rifle for larger groups. Move right, drop through floor hole, shoot Floods. Eliminate Elites at end of hallway, pick up Pistol ammo. Another wave of Fighter Floods will arrive, use Pistol effectively. Proceed to Shuttle Bay. Take cover behind pillar, snipe Elites on Shade Turret. Reach Shade turret, face Elites and Floods charging. Beware of falling to ground level. Move to hallway entrance in current area's corner. Use grenades to clear Grunts and Floods. Music stopping indicates no more foes. Eliminate nearby Floods, proceed to third level of shuttle bay. Toss grenade at door with gathering Floods, use Pistol on Fighters. Enter door, resupply. Continue through hallway to checkpoint.

Enter the door, clear hallway from Flood waves. Three active doors, only one leads somewhere. In next room, large Brain Form Flood (Proto-Gravemind). Trigger cutscene by walking to it. After cutscene, eliminate Honor Guards (Elites and Grunts with fuel rod guns). Proceed to shuttle bay. Take out SpecOps Grunts and Elites. Wait for Covenant air units to land. Grenade to eliminate Elites, then jump over bridge and descend to ground level. Engage Covenant or take Banshee to Shuttle Bay exit. Next: The Maw.
